Before I started the new position, I was the Managing Editor of Equestrian magazine, the official publication of the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF).

I have been involved with horses since age 10. I own a seven-year-old Arabian mare, who is currently for sale. I have taught riding lessons, volunteered with riding for the handicapped, worked on an Arabian breeding farm, competed intercollegiately through the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, interned at the International Arabian Horse Association (now Arabian Horse Association) on their magazine, worked for The Horse magazine for five wonderful years, and have been with USEF for over four years now.
